Jan De Nul Group reported in its 2025 Impact Report that at the beginning of 2026 it connected the first section of Hornsea 3's export cables to the UK mainland, marking the project's first landfall milestone. Cable installation and protection are being executed by Jan De Nul's cable-laying vessels Isaac Newton and Connector during the 2026 offshore campaign, delivering the complete export cable link between the 2.85 GW wind farm and the Norwich Main grid connection point. Landfall sequencing is consistent with Ørsted's broader Hornsea 3 cable installation start announced at end-February 2026.
