The Dutch authorities issued definitive decisions for phase 2 of the “Net op zee – Hollandse Kust (zuid)” grid connection concerning the HDD Zeewering (seawall horizontal directional drilling) workplan, an essential element of the export cable landfall serving the Hollandse Kust Zuid wind farms. These decisions were published for inspection on 15 March 2019, the appeal period ended on 26 April 2019 with no appeals, and the permits became irrevocable on 27 April 2019.
