Seaway 7 installed the first monopile foundation for the Hollandse Kust Zuid offshore wind farm, marking the start of the foundation installation campaign for the 1.5 GW project in the Dutch North Sea. The TP-less monopile foundations, supplied by Sif and marshalled from the Maasvlakte site in the Port of Rotterdam, will support Siemens Gamesa SG 11.0-200 DD turbines and are being installed using Seaway 7 heavy-lift vessels.
