On 4 June 2020, Vattenfall made the Final Investment Decision for the 1,500 MW Hollandse Kust Zuid 1–4 offshore wind farm in the Dutch North Sea, confirming it would proceed with constructing 140 Siemens Gamesa 11 MW turbines and associated infrastructure linked to two TenneT-operated offshore substations, with the project targeted to be fully operational by 2023.
