On 29 July 2024, Vestas announced it had received a firm order from the OranjeWind offshore wind farm (formerly Hollandse Kust West VII) in the Netherlands to supply, deliver, and commission 53 V236-15.0 MW offshore wind turbines for the 795 MW project located about 53 kilometres off the Dutch coast, together with a comprehensive five‑year service agreement followed by long‑term operational support.
