On 25 October 2024, DEME announced it had been awarded a substantial contract, valued between EUR 150 million and EUR 300 million, by the OranjeWind developers RWE and TotalEnergies to carry out the transport and installation of 114 kilometres of inter‑array cables and secondary steel (boat landings, access platforms, and internal platforms) for the 53 monopile foundations at the OranjeWind offshore wind farm, including pre‑sweeping and rock placement works.
