Description
GBM Works was identified by Ecowende as a project partner for Hollandse Kust (west) kavel VI (Ecowende), providing an innovative low-noise (“silent”) monopile installation method intended to reduce installation noise impacts during construction of the offshore wind farm. Ecowende reported that the method was deployed offshore by installation contractor Van Oord, which installed three monopile foundations using GBM Works’ VibroJet® technology, in combination with CAPE’s Vibro Lifting Tool. This role covers the provision and application of GBM Works’ installation system to support foundation installation activities at the Ecowende project site.
