Buss Ports was selected by Ecowende to provide services at its wind turbine marshalling port, Buss Terminal Eemshaven, in the Netherlands, supporting the construction logistics for the Hollandse Kust (west) site VI offshore wind farm. The terminal was designated to act as the project’s wind turbine marshalling harbour, providing large laydown, storage, and handling capacity for staged pre-assembly and load-out activities. Through its Eemshaven terminal and its subsidiary Buss Offshore Solutions, Buss Ports supported the project’s logistics and construction phases. The reported scope covered port infrastructure and operational services required to handle the incoming and outgoing turbine component flows and to enable efficient sequencing for offshore installation campaigns. The terminal support was described as accommodating 52 sets of Vestas V236 turbines and their associated components (including nacelles, blades, and towers), amounting to more than 455 individual components and a combined weight of over 100,000 tonnes. By providing the marshalling base and related port services, Buss Ports contributed to the project’s readiness for offshore installation and helped de-risk the supply chain interface between component delivery, interim storage, and vessel load-out for the wind turbine installation campaign.
