At the end of November 2025, Sif completed the first load-out for the Hollandse Kust West VI (Ecowende) offshore wind farm from its Sif Maasvlakte facility. This milestone marked the beginning of the offshore journey for 52 TP-less monopiles destined for the project. The monopiles, in two diameters of 8.8 m and 9.3 m to accommodate different turbine tower heights, will support the 760 MW Ecowende wind farm located about 53 km off the Dutch coast near IJmuiden. The load-out signified that manufacturing and logistics for this first batch of foundations had progressed to the point where they could be shipped offshore for installation by the project’s contractor fleet.
