Ecowende formally contracted Van Oord in December 2023 as its construction and transport & installation (T&I) contractor for the Hollandse Kust West VI offshore wind farm. Under the contract, Van Oord will transport and install all monopile foundations, lay and connect the inter‑array cables, transport the wind turbine generators, and design and install scour protection for the 52‑turbine, 760 MW project.
