Inter-array cable installation at Ecowende's Hollandse Kust West VI offshore wind farm got underway during April 2026, following completion of all 52 monopile foundations on 10 April 2026. Van Oord deployed installation vessels Boreas, Nexus and Subsea Viking to carry out the monopile and cable installation works, supported by VO:X Barentsz, Van Oord's first sea-going uncrewed survey vessel (USV), which completed its first multi-day offshore deployment at the site in early May 2026. The 66 kV inter-array system links the 52 Vestas V236-15.0 MW turbines through 12 strings to the TenneT offshore platform; SPIE Wind Connect is contracted to perform termination and testing of the 52 cables starting in this campaign.
