On 13 May 2020, the Dutch Council of State issued its judgment on the decisions for the Net op zee Hollandse Kust (noord) and (west Alpha) projects, confirming that the offshore platforms, underground cable systems, and transformer station near Wijk aan Zee may be realised to connect the Hollandse Kust Noord wind farm and part of Hollandse Kust West Alpha to the national high-voltage grid.
