Sif was contracted by Van Oord to fabricate and supply the TP-less monopile foundations for the Hollandse Kust Noord offshore wind project in the Netherlands. The order covered 70 TP-less monopile foundations, i.e., monopile primary structures designed to support the project’s Siemens Gamesa 11 MW-class wind turbines without separate transition pieces. The scope described for Sif focused on manufacturing and delivery of the monopiles and associated project logistics for storage and handover.
