On 29 July 2020, the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy awarded the permit for Hollandse Kust (noord) kavel V to CrossWind C.V., a consortium of Shell and Eneco, following the zero-subsidy tender to develop and operate the 759 MW Hollandse Kust Noord offshore wind farm.
