In 2022, the Dutch Minister of Infrastructure and Water Management, via Rijkswaterstaat Zee en Delta, issued a decision in the Staatscourant establishing a safety zone around kavel V in the Hollandse Kust (noord) wind energy area, imposing a general access prohibition within 500 metres of the site boundary with specified exceptions for construction, operation, and official activities.
