By October 2022, Van Oord had carried out offshore site preparation for the Hollandse Kust Noord wind farm, installing scour protection on the turbine foundation locations using its fallpipe vessel Nordnes to prevent seabed erosion at the project site 18.5 km off the Dutch coast near Egmond aan Zee.
