On 22 December 2020, Sif secured a contract from Van Oord to manufacture and supply 70 TP-less monopile foundations for the Hollandse Kust Noord offshore wind project. The monopiles will be produced and stored at Sif’s Maasvlakte 2 facility in Rotterdam during 2022–2023 for installation at the 759 MW wind farm located about 18.5 km off the Dutch west coast.
