CrossWind’s 759 MW Hollandse Kust Noord offshore wind farm entered operation on 20 December 2023, adding its full capacity to the Dutch electricity grid and contributing an expected 3.3 TWh per year—around 2.8 per cent of national electricity demand—using 69 Siemens Gamesa SG 11.0-200 DD turbines located 18.5 kilometres off Egmond aan Zee.
