Naval Energies was identified as an industrial partner for the Groix & Belle-Île floating offshore wind pilot and was to provide the semi-submersible floating platform/floater technology for the project, designed to support the V164 9.5 MW wind turbines. The company stated it upgraded the floater design to incorporate the selected MHI Vestas turbines, and project documentation described the technology as a Naval Energies semi-submersible floating foundation supporting the V164 turbine.
