RTE and project partners selected and validated the export cable route and landfall option for Groix & Belle-Île on 22 March 2017, choosing a subsea cable making landfall at the already artificialised Kerhillio beach in Erdeven and connecting inland to the existing 63 kV Kerhellegant substation in Plouharnel as the best compromise to limit environmental and user conflicts.
