Météo-France completed its metocean measurement campaigns for the Golfe de Fos offshore wind area by summer 2024. According to the project’s key dates, these weather and oceanographic measurement campaigns were carried out from spring 2021 through summer 2024 as part of the State-led knowledge studies supporting the floating offshore wind projects off the Golfe de Fos. The campaigns collected metocean data over several years to characterise conditions in the Mediterranean project area and provide inputs for later environmental impact assessments and technical design work for the Golfe de Fos 2 floating wind project.
