Following the AO9 procedure being declared sans suite, Golfe de Fos 2 was carried over into the merged AO10 / Procédure de Mise en Concurrence n°1/2026 as Projet C of Groupe PPE2 (one of three ex-AO9 floating sites grouped together as Projets A, B and C). The AO10 cahier des charges rectificatif vCRE was published on 21 April 2026 by DGEC, formalising the site's inclusion in the new 11-project, ~10 GW combined tender. Capacity range under AO10 is 450–550 MW (down from the original AO9 design). First lauréats are expected to be designated end-2026 / early-2027.
