As part of the knowledge-gathering phase for the floating offshore wind farm Golfe de Fos 2, geophysical survey campaigns were carried out in the project area from December 2022 through July 2023. These campaigns, listed under the project’s key dates as "campagnes géophysiques et munitions non explosées (UXO) et géotechniques", included geophysical investigations of the seabed alongside UXO-related and geotechnical activities. The timeline indicates that this combined offshore survey work concluded by July 2023, providing essential data on seabed characteristics and subsoil conditions needed to support subsequent design and permitting steps for the project in the Golfe de Fos area of the Mediterranean.
