In September 2024, Enedis completed onshore works to connect the SEM-REV grid directly to the La Baule substation, increasing the test site’s injection capacity to 10 MW. This new onshore connection enables export of electricity from prototypes such as the France Atlantique 5 MW floating turbine to the French distribution grid.
