Offshore construction for the France-Atlantique 5 MW floating wind demonstrator effectively started in July 2023 with the installation of Eolink’s floating wind turbine mooring system at the SEM-REV test site off Le Croisic. This first major step, involving three anchors and bottom chains, established the dedicated mooring infrastructure for the demonstrator at the Open-C Foundation’s offshore test site.
