As part of preparations to host the France Atlantique floating wind turbine at SEM-REV, Fondation OPEN-C completed in 2023 the installation of the static subsea cable that will provide the future connection from the turbine’s mooring area to the power grid. This cable was installed alongside the three mooring anchors and bottom chains, readying the offshore site electrically for the 5 MW demonstrator.
