Vestas supplied the project’s single 2 MW Vestas V80 wind turbine for the Floatgen floating offshore wind demonstrator, to be mounted quayside on the Damping Pool concrete floating foundation prior to tow-out to the SEM-REV test site off Le Croisic, France.
