By 2018, the Floatgen 2 MW floating wind demonstrator at the SEM-REV test site off Le Croisic had entered operational service, supplying electricity to the grid as France’s first offshore wind turbine. Since its 2018 commissioning it has been in continuous operation, producing electricity and providing real-condition performance and environmental data.
