Description
DEME Offshore installed all 71 Siemens Gamesa SWT-7.0-154 turbines at the Fécamp offshore wind farm using its heavy-lift jack-up vessel Innovation, operating out of the port of Cherbourg. The installation campaign ran from the first turbine placement in July 2023 through the final, 71st turbine installed on 25 March 2024. Innovation returned to port on 26 March 2024 marking completion of the turbine installation works.
