On 10 May 2016, Enbridge Inc. agreed to acquire a 50% interest in Éolien Maritime France SAS (EMF) for CAD 282 million, including transaction costs and past and future pre-FID development costs. Following this deal, EMF, which is developing three French offshore wind farms including the 498 MW Fécamp project (Eoliennes Offshore des Hautes Falaises), became co-owned by Enbridge and EDF Energies Nouvelles, with the two companies co-developing the projects.
