Onshore construction for the Fécamp Offshore Wind Farm began in June 2020, when the consortium led by EDF Renewables, Enbridge/CPP Investments and Skyborn officially launched wind farm construction and associated sites. This marked the start of onshore works including site preparation for building the gravity-based foundations at Le Havre, the Siemens Gamesa turbine manufacturing plant, and the Fécamp operations and maintenance base, enabling subsequent offshore installation phases.
