By 18 December 2023, installation of the inter-array cable system at the 500 MW Fécamp Offshore Wind Farm had been completed, with Asso.subsea reporting successful completion of seabed preparation, installation, protection and backfilling for 71 inter-array cables totalling more than 118 km. Working under an EPCI contract from Prysmian Group, which designed, manufactured and supplied the 33 kV submarine cables, Asso.subsea used multiple specialised vessels and trenching tools to install and protect the full array network connecting all 71 Siemens Gamesa turbines to the offshore substation.
