Description
RTE, the French transmission system operator, was responsible for connecting the EolMed floating pilot wind farm offshore Gruissan/Port-La-Nouvelle to the onshore electricity grid via a submarine-and-underground link. RTE’s teams also energised the offshore export connection to the project’s floating electrical hub as part of bringing the grid connection into service.
