Description
JDR Cable Systems was awarded a contract for Qair’s 30 MW EolMed floating offshore wind project to supply, test and terminate the 66 kV dynamic inter-array cables connecting the three 10 MW floating wind turbines to the project’s floating electrical hub. JDR designed and manufactured the 66 kV dynamic cable system, with final assembly and testing carried out at its Hartlepool facility, and planned to mobilise teams on site for testing and termination of the inter-array cable system.
