Qair announced that the 30 MW EolMed floating wind pilot project off Port-La Nouvelle and Gruissan had been successfully energised, marking the start of a critical phase of technical testing ahead of full commissioning and the first renewable electricity exports to the French grid. The project comprises three Vestas V164-10 MW turbines on BW Ideol Damping Pool floaters in around 60 metres of water depth.
