On 5 May 2022, the EolMed partnership of Qair, TotalEnergies and BW Ideol took final investment decision on the 30 MW floating wind farm off Gruissan, confirming that construction and installation would proceed, with financing arranged through a non-recourse debt package supported by the European Investment Bank, which is providing an EUR 85 million loan alongside French lenders for a total project cost of about EUR 289 million.
