By 15 June 2023, JDR Cable Systems had been awarded the contract to design, manufacture, supply, test and terminate the 66 kV dynamic inter-array cables for the 30 MW EolMed floating wind project off Gruissan, providing cables manufactured and tested at its Hartlepool facility to connect the three floating turbines in around 60 metres of water depth, with installation to be carried out by Bourbon Offshore Gaïa.
