On 20 November 2019, the Préfet de l'Aude signed arrêté préfectoral n° DREAL/DMMC-11-2019-008 granting the autorisation environnementale (AE) under articles L.181-1 et seq. of the Code de l'environnement to RTE for the raccordement au réseau public de transport d'électricité of the EolMed floating wind farm pilot off Gruissan. The AE covers the submarine and underground export cable linking the offshore wind farm to the public electricity transmission network. Per the tightened schema, the AE for the RTE onshore corridor is one of the project-wide consents for the grid-connection segment. Subsequent prescriptions complémentaires arrêtés DREAL/DMMC-11-2020-002 and DREAL/DMMC-11-2021-003 (signed 28 July 2021) have modified this original AE.</description> </invoke>
