MEWO S.A. is engaged by ORLEN Neptun to perform comprehensive marine environment survey works across the Baltic West offshore wind farm cluster (four licences on the Oder Bank, including Energa MFW 1 / area 14.E.1). Announced 6 May 2026. Scope spans both inanimate-nature monitoring and extensive living-organism monitoring: fish abundance and species composition, seabird and migratory-bird movement and migration routes, marine-mammal activity, and benthic communities (clams, polychaetes, underwater vegetation). Methodology uses specialised survey vessels and an aircraft. The campaign is run on an annual basis to capture seasonal variation and provide a full-year picture of baseline environmental conditions. MEWO is also the consultancy that prepared Energa MFW 1's Karta Informacyjna Przedsięwzięcia (KIP, document MEWO-25015-KIP_14.E.1 Rev. 2, dated 9 June 2025) that anchored the 27 June 2025 DŚU application to RDOŚ Szczecin. The current marine-survey works will feed the Raport OOŚ (environmental impact report) that Energa MFW 1 must submit under the transboundary EIA procedure determined by the 24 July 2025 RDOŚ ruling. The role is recorded as cluster-wide; quoted in the announcement is Marcin Sowiński, Baltic West Project Director.
