Geofizyka Toruń SA is engaged by ORLEN Neptun to deliver the 2D seismic survey campaign across the Baltic West offshore wind farm cluster (four licences on the Oder Bank, including Energa MFW 1 / area 14.E.1). Announced on 30 April 2026, the campaign was framed as a key local-content engagement by ORLEN Neptun CEO Janusz Bil. Scope: acquisition of approximately 3,000 km of high-resolution 2D multichannel seismic lines from a specialised survey vessel, mapping the geological structure of the sub-seabed to a depth of 100 metres across the four cluster licences. Duration: several months. Outputs feed into Energa MFW 1's foundation-design analyses and into the scoping of preliminary geotechnical campaigns scheduled for later in 2026. Geofizyka Toruń was selected on the strength of its prior European and global geophysical survey experience. The contract sits at the front of the site-investigation chain for the cluster — it precedes the geotechnical surveys (boreholes / CPTs) that will eventually determine foundation type and dimensioning for area 14.E.1's up-to-54 turbines and up-to-2 offshore substations.
