Bathymetric survey services to assess condition of monopile foundations, inter-array cables, and export cable assets (Eneco Luchterduinen). Export cable described elsewhere for this project as 150 kV and 25 km.
XOCEAN was awarded a series of five-year survey contracts covering Eneco Luchterduinen and five other Dutch offshore wind farms, with the agreements coordinated by Eneco on behalf of the participating owners. For Eneco Luchterduinen, XOCEAN’s scope focused on bathymetric and seabed survey data acquisition to support ongoing asset integrity and maintenance decision-making. The work included acquiring high-resolution datasets to assess the condition of monopile foundation areas and subsea cable assets, including both inter-array cables and the export cable. XOCEAN planned to deploy its remotely operated Uncrewed Surface Vessels (USVs) to collect repeatable, high-quality survey data while reducing operational risk compared with crewed survey approaches. The survey outputs were intended to support maintenance programmes, maximise asset uptime, and improve long-term performance across the wind farm portfolio. For Eneco Luchterduinen specifically, the survey campaign covered the wind farm’s monopile foundation locations and its subsea cable corridors/near-field seabed conditions as part of the asset condition assessment framework used during operations.
