FØN Energy Services won a combined tender covering six Dutch offshore wind farms, including Eneco Luchterduinen, under a five-year maintenance contract starting from 2026. Eneco stated the tender was coordinated with Eneco acting as operator on behalf of the participating wind farm owners, enabling portfolio-wide planning efficiencies and economies of scale. Under the contract, FØN Energy Services was to perform above-water Balance of Plant (BoP) Inspection, Repair and Maintenance (IRM) services and below-water ROV surveys. For Eneco Luchterduinen, this scope encompassed inspection and maintenance support activities relevant to the operational offshore assets, including structural elements and interfaces that form part of the wind farm’s monopile-based balance of plant. The appointment covered ongoing operational support intended to optimise performance, enhance safety, and minimise downtime through campaign-based execution and the use of advanced methods. While the framework covered multiple wind farms with differing start dates depending on existing commitments, the role explicitly included Eneco Luchterduinen as one of the contracted sites under the five-year programme.
