On 12 October 2022, EPCI contractor Eiffage Métal awarded Maersk Supply Service a transport and installation contract for the Éoliennes Flottantes du Golfe du Lion (EFGL) floating wind farm in the Mediterranean. Maersk Supply Service will provide engineering, transport, delivery to site, offshore installation of the three 10 MW turbines, and the procurement and installation of the mooring systems, using two deepwater anchor handling tug supply vessels, with offshore operations scheduled to take place from Q4 2023 over an 18‑month period.
