On 31 May 2022, the European Investment Bank signed a EUR 75 million financing package with Les Éoliennes Flottantes du Golfe du Lion SAS for the 30 MW EFGL floating offshore wind farm, whose total cost is estimated at about EUR 300 million. The loan supports the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of three 10 MW floating turbines and associated balance-of-plant, complementing other non-recourse financing from private banks and export credit support referenced for the project.
