On 14 June 2019, the French government awarded the 600 MW Dunkirk offshore wind farm contract to the Eoliennes en Mer de Dunkerque (EMD) consortium led by EDF with partners Innogy (now RWE Renewables) and Enbridge, securing a regulated offshore wind tariff of about €44/MWh, significantly below €50/MWh, which will underpin the project’s future revenues.
