On 19 January 2026, Smulders announced it had been selected by Chantiers de l’Atlantique to execute the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of the jacket foundation for the offshore substation of the 600 MW Dunkerque Offshore Wind Farm, with RTE as end client. The contract covers detailed engineering, procurement and fabrication of the substation jacket, with final assembly and delivery to take place at Smulders’ yard in Fos-sur-Mer, supporting the grid connection infrastructure for the project.
