On 2 January 2026, an arrêté was signed declaring as a Déclaration d'utilité publique (DUP), in favour of Réseau de Transport d'Électricité (RTE), the works for the creation of the double 225,000 V submarine and underground electrical link between the offshore substation JEAN BART and the onshore substation VENUS as part of the Dunkerque offshore wind farm grid-connection project. Per the tightened schema, the DUP for an RTE onshore corridor is the project-wide consent for the onshore grid-connection segment.</description> </invoke>
