The Dutch government, via Bureau Energieprojecten on behalf of the Ministries of Climate and Green Growth (KGG) and Housing and Spatial Planning (VRO), held a public consultation on the draft Notitie Reikwijdte en Detailniveau (concept-NRD) for the envisaged wind farms in parcels I–IV of the Doordewind wind energy area, which includes the future Doordewind II site; the draft scoping note was available for public inspection and comments from 10 October to 20 November 2025.
