For the Net op zee (Offshore Grid) Doordewind project that will connect the Doordewind wind energy area, including Doordewind I, to the Dutch onshore grid at Eemshaven, the Ministry of Climate and Green Growth opened public consultation on the Voornemen en Participatieplan (Notice of Intent and Participation Plan). From 17 October to 27 November 2025, this document was available for inspection and stakeholders could submit responses on the proposed 2 GW underground cable systems, offshore platforms, onshore converter stations and the approach to public participation in the projectprocedure.
