VALEMO provided technical support to e-BO Enterprises for commissioning and ensuring smooth operation of the communications infrastructure for the Dieppe-Le Tréport offshore wind farm. The work started on the project’s offshore electrical substation being manufactured at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique industrial site in Saint-Nazaire, covering inspections and verification of integrated communications systems with tier-1 suppliers, inspection of low-voltage and optical fibre cabling and connections, pre-commissioning tests and interfacing/validation of communications systems, and troubleshooting to maintain operational continuity between the offshore site and onshore facilities.
